Your responsibilities

Develop and execute strategies to increase market share for assigned territory, seeking out new strategic opportunities for the Company

Drives the monthly submission of the latest sales revenue forecast for assigned region and progress to goals

Examine and analyze data to forecast future market opportunities in relation to the Company's supply chain demands

Effectively manage Medartis assets acting as a prudent steward of inventory, maximizing set turns where they will deliver the highest return; redeploy when/where necessary

Ensure the Team is managed and rewarded effectively, using reliable processes and established Performance Management tools

Develop and maintain productive relationships with key surgeons and customers

Develop and maintain product line technical expertise

Represent Medartis at professional meetings, conventions, professional exhibitions and training courses to preserve the Medartis brand and a positive Medartis Company image.

Work with targeted hospitals and healthcare professionals to provide product research updates, innovations and other key information

Ensure the Sales Team maintains current understanding, knowledge and compliance with AdvaMed Code of Conduct related to HCP interactions

Assist in the financial analyses and evaluation of projects working closing with Executive leadership on Local, Regional and National Contracts to negotiate terms to ensure greatest profitability for Medartis

Your qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university required. Master's Degree in a related field is a plus

12+ years of relevant sales experience with medical products or medical devices preferably in Trauma, Spine, Orthopaedic Sports Medicine or Extremities

5+ years in medical device sales management of independent agents and distributors

Experience managing and negotiating sales contracts highly preferred

Deep understanding of regional market and business dynamics

Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills

Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of management and profession (i.e., surgeons)

Strong technical product knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures and solutions

Keen business acumen and ability to manage a budget

Strong degree of personal drive and persistence

Frequent travel – 40-50% of the time within assigned Region
