Your responsibilities
Serve as the site’s primary point of contact and subject matter owner for all domestic and international shipping activities, including issue resolution and escalation
Coordinate, manage and archive documents of all inbound and outbound international shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
Prepare, review, and maintain required international shipping and customs documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates, etc.)
Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs, international trade regulations, and company policies
Monitor and address shipment delays, customs holds, tariff impacts, and clearance issues
Partner with internal local and global teams (Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, and Operations) to support shipping needs and resolve concerns
Communicate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and external partners to ensure smooth shipment execution
Track shipments, shipment performance, costs, and trends; identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings
Support audits, reporting, and recordkeeping related to international trade and customs compliance
Stay current on changes to tariffs, trade regulations, and shipping requirements that may impact operations
Your qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred
2–5 years of experience in international shipping, logistics, or customs coordination
Hands-on experience working with international shipping processes strongly preferred
Working knowledge of customs regulations, international trade compliance, and tariff considerations
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage issues through resolution
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficiency with shipping systems, ERP platforms (preferably SAP), and Microsoft Office tools
