Your responsibilities
Develop and manage a structured sales education curriculum for new hires and existing sales professionals, including product knowledge, anatomy, procedural workflows, surgical technique, competitive positioning, sales process, account management, and customer communication.
Create onboarding pathways for Sales Associates and Territory Consultants that help accelerate readiness in the orthopedic medical device environment.
Design training materials, presentations, workshops, assessments, field guides, videos, and digital learning tools that support consistent learning across the organization.
Partner with Marketing, Product Management, Medical Education, and Sales Leadership to ensure training content is accurate, clinically relevant, commercially aligned, and compliant.
Establish competency standards and certification checkpoints for core product platforms, surgical techniques, instrumentation, and field selling skills.
Train sales representatives on Medartis product systems, including implants, instruments, procedural steps, clinical applications, and appropriate use cases.
Support education around KeriMedical portfolio, specific to TOUCH.
Ensure the sales team can effectively communicate product functionality, portfolio updates, clinical value, and appropriate use to surgeons, nurses, and hospital staff.
Your qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Education, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in orthopedic medical device sales, sales training, clinical education, product management, or a related commercial medical device role.
Strong understanding of orthopedic procedures, surgical workflows, implants, instruments, and operating room environments.
Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver engaging training programs for sales professionals.
Excellent presentation, communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
Ability to translate complex clinical and technical information into practical, field-ready sales education.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, training events, and stakeholders.
Ability to travel for field training, meetings, labs, surgeon education events, and national or regional sales programs.
Experience in upper extremity, trauma, or adult reconstruction orthopedic surgery.
Prior role as a Sales Trainer, Field Sales Trainer, Regional Trainer, Clinical Specialist, Product Manager, or high-performing orthopedic sales representative.
Experience supporting new product launches and commercial education initiatives.
Familiarity with learning management systems, training assessments, certification programs, and digital education tools.
Experience developing sales collateral, product positioning, competitive messaging, or commercial launch materials.
