Your responsibilities

Setting up and operating CNC equipment such as lathes and mills.

May be asked to complete minor writing or editing of CNC programs.

Manufacture of parts for routed orders.

Record measurements per customer and company requirements.

Perform preventive maintenance on facility CNC equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair company equipment as able.

Maintain records for measurement and maintenance.

Complete daily maintenance and repair logs.

Communicate with operators from other shifts.

Maintain and secure work tools.

Clean and maintain work area.

Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.

Provide on-the-job training to new employees.

Maintain stock of tools and tooling.

Other duties as assigned.

Your qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Basic reading, writing, and some advanced arithmetic skills required.

Experience using one or more of the following tools: lathe, milling machine, drill press, and vertical/horizontal cut off saw is preferred.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics supplied by customer.

Ability to read measurements using calipers and other measurement tools.

Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.

Prolonged periods of standing and bending required.

Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
