Your responsibilities
- Imaging & Provisioning: Execute the imaging process for new laptops using tools like Microsoft Autopilot and lntune to ensure all devices meet company standards.
- Hardware Deployment: Unbox, tag, and organize new inventory. Prepare "New Hire" or "Refresh" kits for distribution to employees.
- Data Migration: Assist users in backing up local data and ensuring a seamless transition of files and settings to the new Windows 11 environment (utilizing OneDrive and profile migration tools).
- Troubleshooting: Provide Tier 1 support for post-deployment issues, including peripheral connectivity (docks, monitors), software installation, and OS navigation.
- Asset Management: Maintain an accurate inventory database. Document the decommissioning of legacy hardware and ensure secure data destruction according to company policy.
- User Training: Briefly orient employees on the new features of Windows 11 to reduce "day one" friction.
Your qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong familiarity with Windows 10/11 environments.
- Basic understanding of PC hardware components and peripherals.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive).
- Excellent communication skills and a "customer-first" mentality.
- Ability to follow strict technical checklists and documentation.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs (laptops/docking stations).
