Group Manager Global Supply Planning

Your responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Global Supply Chain Planners to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Lead short- and mid-term supply planning activities, representing the supply view in the global S&OP process.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate supply risks and bottlenecks to ensure high product availability.
  • Own and optimize global inventory policies, including safety stock, cycle stock, and risk inventories.
  • Act as the primary liaison for supply planning matters across global functions and regions, fostering alignment in a matrixed environment.
  • Own and improve dashboards and reports to support strategic and operational decisions, while ensuring the integrity of planning data
  • Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at improving supply performance and business outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning processes by leveraging ERP systems and advanced planning tools.

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of relevant supply planning experience in a global or matrixed organization.
  • Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Deep understanding of inventory management, supply planning and S&OP processes
  • Strong analytical and project management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in SAP ERP, other planning tools are a plus.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, or similar reporting tools.
  • Fluent in English and German.
