Reporting Ownership & Quality Assurance

• End-to-end functional ownership of the accuracy and consistency of all FPA reports (management reporting, regional packages, KPI dashboards)
• Quality gate before every report publication – systematic validation and cross-checking of figures
• Ensuring that acquired entities are correctly integrated into the reporting landscape (pro-forma, like-for-like comparability)
• Ownership of the reporting package: group, regional, and business unit level
• Identification and proactive resolution of inconsistencies across reports

Reporting Development & Automation

• Advancing the PowerBI reporting landscape in collaboration with the PowerBI Specialist
• Driving automation within the DWH/PowerBI stack (SAP Datasphere, Power BI)
• Defining standards for report design, data modelling, and naming conventions
• Identifying optimisation potential in existing reports and processes

Functional Guidance (without line management)

• Functional coordination and guidance of the PowerBI Specialist and the Reporting Associate
• Prioritisation of reporting requests and coordination of delivery
• Sparring partner and subject matter expert for the reporting team

Stakeholder Management

• Point of contact for subsidiaries on reporting queries and data quality issues
• Close collaboration with the Head of FPA to ensure the strategic alignment of reporting

Ihre Qualifikationen

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Business Informatics, or equivalent
• German and English: Business fluent (min. C1). French, Portuguese: an advantage
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Financial Reporting / FP&A
• Experience in functional coordination or project management – formal line management experience not required but considered an advantage
• Experience in an international environment with acquisition-driven growth is an advantage
• Experience in the MedTech or Life Sciences industry is an advantage 
• Strong knowledge of Power BI (DAX, data modelling, report design) – able to build reports independently and enhance existing ones
• Understanding of DWH architectures and data flows (ideally SAP Datasphere)
• Solid finance knowledge: consolidation, P&L analysis, NWC, acquisition integration
• Experience with planning software (e.g. Vena Solutions, Anaplan, Jedox) is an advantage
• Strong hands-on mentality – this role is not a pure coordination function but requires active involvement in reports, data, and analyses
• Proactive ownership mindset – drives topics independently without waiting for instructions
• High attention to detail and quality awareness – identifies errors before they escalate
• Natural authority and persuasiveness – able to provide functional guidance and demand results without formal authority
• Willingness to dive deep into the numbers and carry out operational reporting work
• Structured and systematic way of working
• Strong communicator – able to explain technical matters clearly
