Your responsibilities

• Design and develop secure, scalable and stable Java web APIs using Spring Boot.
• Develop modern web applications using Angular, TypeScript and WebGL/3D technologies.
• Translate business and clinical requirements into clear and practical technical solutions.
• Make AI-assisted development work in practice: use AI coding agents in your daily work, review and validate what they produce, and build the guardrails, tests and review practices that keep AI-generated code secure and maintainable.
• Contribute to system architecture and technical direction across complex distributed Systems.
• Ensure high standards of quality and security through unit testing, automated end-to-end testing and code reviews.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to continuous improvement of our products and engineering practices.

Your qualifications

• University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or comparable education.
• Solid experience in Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web technologies such as HTML and CSS/SCSS.
• Experience with Angular and ideally WebGL or other 3D technologies.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding agents and LLM-based development tools is an advantage.
• Experience with agile software development, e.g. Scrum, Test-Driven Development and Continuous Integration.
• Experience in 3D voxel modelling or rendering algorithms is a plus.
• Analytical, structured and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to translate clinical and business needs into practical technical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in an interdisciplinary environment.
• Fluent in English or German, both spoken and written.
